Grow Your Own Marketing Strategy!

After the very successful Marketing Strategy seminar in Catalyst Belfast Fintech Hub (How To Avoid Blood On The Boardroom Carpet) both Guy Bucknall and CBFH have been asked how companies might learn how to apply the principals covered on the day.

We have put together a programme to be delivered by Guy Bucknall and hosted by CBFH.  This will take company teams, step by step, through the entire process of developing their own Marketing Strategy.

The Aim

Over an eight week period you will build a comprehensive Marketing Strategy for your business from the ground up.  At the end of it you will have:

  • A deep understanding of who your customers are and what motivates them

  • A fully costed communications plan including detailed messaging requirements in what media

  • Identified a number of ‘Sales Funnels’ and the KPIs that go with them

  • A strong understanding and plan of how those funnels are going to be managed by you in a ‘Continuous Improvement Cycle’

  • Detailed sales forecast for a 12 month period including ‘Weekly Heads-Up Splash Page’

How

One evening per week we will hold a round table workshop in central Belfast.  This will start with 40 – 60 minutes of instruction from Guy Bucknall, followed by 60 – 80 minutes of practical exercises on your own business (2 hours maximum).

After each workshop there will be a ‘homework’ task related to the topic discussed which will require about an hour’s work.

Guy will follow up in person with each company separately before the following week’s seminar (probably about an hour each time).  This will allow the attendees to review their progress, seek advice or clarification etc.

Course members will have exclusive access to the ‘Grow Your Own Marketing Strategy’ online course where they can access videos of the instruction plus all the relevant course materials including swipe files and links etc.

The course will be accompanied by a private online Mastermind Group (either a Private Facebook Group or a Private Bizmerang Circle).  In this group, members will be able to share their own issues, seek support and so on.

Who
  • This Course is for companies who are already trading.  'Start Ups' need to wait for another release.

  • Attendees are strongly encouraged to attend in teams of 2 – 3 people from their company.

  • There will be no more than 5 companies in each cohort.

What You Will Have At The End

At the end of the course, you will have a fully considered and costed marketing strategy for your company.  Understandably it will be quite simple initially but you can enact it immediately.  Because you will then have a thorough understanding of the process, you will be able to start adding more and more complexity over time as your confidence builds.

Support

If you get a bit stuck along the way, don’t worry, all the workshops will be recorded and you can access and replay them as often as you want.

If you want even more support, you can contact Guy directly through the Private Facebook Page that only the course attendees will have exclusive access to.  You can also draw from the experience of all your classmates in the same place and treat the Facebook page as a mini forum.
