Guy Bucknall         

Guy Bucknall has more than 20 years experience in industry. 

 

Having started his career in the major London advertising agencies in the early 1990’s, he became a successful tech entrepreneur in the 2000’s.  More recently he has specialised in advising, supporting, mentoring and investing in client businesses.  His CV includes some very major brands (e.g. British Airways, Mars UK, Reckitt &Benckiser) but more recently he has specialised in start ups and early stage growth tasks.

 

Despite having started his career in a print related world, since 2010 he has concentrated on his Digital Marketing skills and is now an accredited (and accomplished) Digital Strategist and is presently completing a Diploma in Digital Business Leadership.

 

Largely based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, in 2015 he was appointed as an Entrepreneur in Residence at the Northern Ireland Science Park where he advises and mentors on the Springboard and Generation Innovation programmes for NISP Connect.

 

Most of his free time is split between sailing, the gym and time with his two sons, with whom he holds three primary roles - Annoyance in Chief, Cash Dispenser and Chauffeur.
